260 Polars
From Conq/Finot, this is the polar diagram generated by the VPP program used to design the boat. It shows the boat being capable of bending the waterline rule downwind, and true to that, we have seen well over 8 knots on many occasions.
One point of interest, the official polars for the 260 and 25.7 are markedly different, while the boats are the same hull form and rig. The 25.7 polars show MUCH better performance to windward in lighter airs. Our experience matches the 25.7 polars, so we now only use those. I have a contact at Conq/Finot and am planning on asking him about his. For now, all the polars on this site are the new ones.

Here is the Polar in tabular form.
This data is available in a MS-word document HERE
Because this would be impossible to use on the boat while racing, I have created an easy to read graphic of this data, with only the Windward/Leeward numbers present. We have several copies of this laminated and mounted on the boat.
